Driving Directions

The UCSB Nanofabrication Facility is located at the University of California, Santa Barbara—90 miles north of Los Angeles. Driving from the north or the south on the 101 Freeway just follow the UCSB/Airport Exit signs to the entrance of campus. We are in the Engineering Science Building, 1st floor.

Parking Information

Visitors to UC Santa Barbara must have a valid parking permit and must observe Parking Regulations while on campus. Contact Parking Services at (805) 893-5388 for additional information.

For Jet-Setters

UCSB may be easily accessed from many major US cities by flying into the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), located about 0.5 miles from the campus entrance. There is a taxi stand at the airport, or you can contact the SuperRide Shuttle.

The Santa Barbara Air Bus also provides roundtrip service from the Los Angeles Airport to its Goleta terminal, located within 1 mile of the UCSB campus.
