Convenient and Easy Billing

You can use the facility day or night, whether it's a holiday or not. If you have a pressing deadline to make, you can access the facility 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. (Except on leap year—you get an extra day!)

Our system allows accurate tracking and billing for hours used. Industries and academic institutions can be easily billed through a simple recharge system.

 

Rates

Use of Facility and Equipment

These rates include training:

  • Academic: $35.00/hour
  • Industrial: $130/hour

E-beam Lithography Equipment Use

  • Academic: $180/hour
  • Industrial: $540/hour

Dedicated Staff Support

$65/hour for academic users (training is included in the rates above)

$100/hour for industrial users (training is included in the rates above)

Additional Resources Available at UCSB

Facility users will benefit from the strong internal program in
materials research and characterization at UCSB, through the
user-accessible Materials Research Labs (MRL). This is a
separate facility and different rates apply.

National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN)

All network sites are separate facilities and different rates apply.

Technical and educational staff services are possible through the generosity of the National Science Foundation through support via the NNIN.
