Chip Camp 1
We offer 2-day chip camps of varying difficulties for groups of 10-16 high school Physics or Chemistry students.

In these camps, students will briefly experience what real scientific research is like.

Day 1: Students learn the basics of top-down nanofabrication processes.

Day 2: Students design their own experiment and do it.

Past Chip Camps: Hall of Fame The first official weekend-long Nanotech Chip Camp at UCSB was March 12-13, 2005. Since then, we have had many chip camps. To see a list of past chip camps and pictures taken at the camps, click here.

Technical and educational staff services are possible through the generosity of the National Science Foundation through support via the NNIN.
